Terms of Service

Welcome to He Saved Us ("we," "our," or "us"), a Bible study application provided by Get Ready Ministries. By accessing or using our website at hesavedus.org and the He Saved Us application (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and us. By creating an account, browsing the Bible, posting community content, making a donation, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms and to take further action, including account termination and legal steps where appropriate.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you create, including notes, highlights, bookmarks, and community posts. By posting content to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the rights to the content you post
• Your content does not violate any law or third-party right
• Your content does not contain copyrighted scripture text beyond what is permitted for personal study and non-commercial sharing

Public community posts are visible to other users. You may edit or delete your own content at any time.

6. Donations

The Service is free to use. We accept voluntary donations and recurring partnership gifts to support the ministry. Donations are processed by a third-party payment provider and are generally non-refundable unless required by law. Recurring donations continue until you cancel them through your account or by contacting us. Your donation does not constitute ownership, equity, or control of the ministry.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, logos, and software, is owned by Get Ready Ministries and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.

Bible translations are sourced from public-domain and freely licensed providers. All scripture is the property of its respective rights holders and is used in accordance with their terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that study notes, highlights, or other data will never be lost. AI-assisted features may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete information; you are responsible for verifying any result against scripture. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Get Ready Ministries and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you donated to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Get Ready Ministries and its officers, directors, and volunteers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms or the rights of another party.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, the licenses granted by you will end, but your content may remain in backups for a reasonable period.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms within the app and update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the jurisdiction in which Get Ready Ministries operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
